Summer Midweek Gathering!
Wednesday evenings at 7pm
(June 24th-August 26th)
604 Arizona Avenue
As our Life Groups took a break for the summer we took the opportunity to get together for a midweek bible study through the book of Luke.
We ate together, got to know one another better and grew spiritually as we dove into the scriptures!
Beginning Sunday, May 31st we will be having an extended time of prayer on Sunday mornings for a few Sundays in a row.
After beginning with a short teaching about prayer at 11am, we will enter an hour-long time of prayer and worship from 11:30am to 12:30pm.
Please plan to attend to pray and to get prayed for!
ALL ARE WELCOME!

Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at 11am - Temescal Gateway Park, Pacific Palisades
Please join us for a special Easter celebration at Temescal Gateway Park again this year!
Surrounded by the beauty of God's creation, deep in the canyon under the Sycamore trees, we will enjoy a potluck brunch followed by a time of music and the message of the Resurrection.
After the service, we'll have an Easter egg hunt for the kids!
Whether you are simply curious about faith, or you are a longtime follower of Christ, we would love to have you join us! Invite a friend, co-worker or neighbor.
Parking is FREE, but please bring your own chair or blanket and a dish to share for the potluck.
FRIDAY, April 3, 2014 at 3pm - Santa Monica Beach (on the sand just north of the parking lot connected to the north side of Santa Monica Pier)
We had another great time at our annual Good Friday Service & Baptism at the beach in Santa Monica! This year we met at the same location as last year - on the sand just north of the parking lot connected to the north side of the Santa Monica Pier.
As always, it was easy to find because of the large wooden cross that we put in the sand.
The service featured worship, a teaching by Pastor Steve, communion and a baptism in the ocean.
Sunday, March 22nd at 12:30pm - 604 Arizona Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90401
Please plan to stay after church for a tasty taco meal from El Taco Man on the roof at ROC Santa Monica!
Please bring a friend who might not usually attend a church service.
The suggested donation is $5 per person (ages 13 and older), $3 for kids (ages 4-12), kids under 4 are free.
Beginning Sunday, February 1st our Family Church Service will begin at 11am, instead of 9:30am.!
In this "family" service kids are integrated with their parents and other adults in a family environment where the kids are part of our story.
After some kid-friendly worship at 11am (downstairs at ROC Santa Monica) the kids go upstairs to the 3rd floor room on the rooftop for a kid-friendly, object-lesson type teaching with the Children’s Ministry teachers/assistants.
Having worked closely with Pastor Steve for the past year Rob Terrell will now lead this service as the main teacher!
Note: Parents please try to be on time (right at 11am) as the first few worship songs downstairs will be specifically for the kids before they are dismissed to go upstairs. Thanks!

We tend to define the Power of God by the amazing visible and experiential miracles He performs. Obviously, every time God moves in power it is an awesome thing! However, there is a much more subtle way God moves that we must be careful not to miss - that is, through the power of His love.
